Weronika Lucinska

 

 

 

Weronika Lucińska, born in 1989 in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski (Poland), she lives and works in Wroclaw.

Graduated from the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass – ceramic design at The Eugenisz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. 2013-2017 she was a PhD student at The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, under the guidance of prof. Katarzyna Koczyńska- Kielan. She defended her doctoral thesis in the field of visual arts in the discipline of design arts in 2018. She participated in many international competitions and exhibitions in Poland, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Denmark. She is a laureate of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Sholarship and Jerzy Grotowski Art Grant. In 2017, she was awarded the title of European Ceramic Ambassador in the Future Light Competition organized by Porzellanikon as part of the Ceramics and Its Dimensions project. In 2019 she received the WARTO award in the category of visual arts.

 

In her creativity she use art installation, art-design objects and ceramic sculpture, often combine with glass elements.
